In the Christian life, we are amiss if we are pointing others to the best version of themselves rather than pointing them to God as the Master Planner for their lives because truly, God has a plan for everyone He has created!
Pray for Special Needs Families in your church and/or community who do not know Jesus or do not regularly attend a local church.
To have a good plan, plan alone. To have a great plan, enlist the help of others who share your love and vision for the ministry.
He had no fear; He was the storm-maker. Jesus said, “Take courage. It is I. Don’t be afraid.” (Matthew 14:27 NIV)
Have you ever been deceived by your circumstances? Ever looked around and interpreted what was going on in your life by the information you could see dimly? How many times have you been in darkness groping for pieces and clues to put together so you would not feel alone?
It was a Sunday evening I will never forget. When the service ended I thought to myself with relief, maybe this was the best night he has ever had. There was so much I did not know.
Jumping right into a plan might work for most ministries, but in special needs ministry preparation, even before the plan, is needed because things do not always go as planned!
